Whoever told you smoking was cool? Whoever told you smoking was attractive?
It's one of the most dangerous killers out there. Over 443,000 Americans (over 18 percent of all deaths) die because of
smoking each year!!!!
Smoking is not a one time thing. It can hook you in from the very first puff you take.
Be aware of the dangers it holds. It takes years off your life and puts you in higher risks of getting cancer(s) and several other atrocious things. Your life is not a joke, so don't treat it like one.
Don't even try it once.

Sometimes I wish I lived right next to a pier....just so I could watch the boats float by &
just smell the sea breeze
drifting in the air. Not to say that I don't live by any piers, because I do. They are just
somewhat far away. I say pier,
because I love the fact that you are walking right above the water, yet
aren't sinking.

A Day In Seattle

| Spent a nice, long day in Seattle today. Very hectic. We THOUGH we were walking in the right direction, but ended up walking several blocks in the opposite direction of where we were supposed to be. Good thing we remembered where we started from. The tram was thrilling since it was my first time on one. A security officer checked our tickets & gave us a very hard look saying "You know your tickets are expired. You can't use these." My friend & I just sat there gaping at him, just uttering out "But! We just bought them!" & "What are you talking about?!" Turns out, the joke was on us because he was only kidding. Scared the heck out of me, I thought I was going to be thrown off! haha.

A Week+ of Poetry
|
In my English class, we have been doing
poetry. But, that unit has now ended. I was very cynical of it at first. I can't say I
love it, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I didn't get any
better understanding of it, I
was basically just spilling out words & tying them together then slapping on a title. I pulled a
few things out of myself that I didn't know were there. & it felt
good to let it out. But, there is no way in heck I'm going to start writing poems. :)
But, ever
since this poetry unit, every time I read a book, I think "Oh, they must of been trying hard to find a
good word to explain this." (Hopefully this passes SOON, it's ruing the enjoyment of
reading) Relating back to when I was trying to find a better word
besides "Great!" You know, how
sometimes a whole sentence will read something like "& then the marvelous sky lied above me
like a blue ocean during a storm." I feel as though they just
threw words into the sentence to make it sound more complex. Which may be the case. Well, I
guess that's better than saying "The
sky is blue & I'm standing under it!"
You know, I
don't even know what I'm getting at anymore. I think I'm just speaking freely.

You
know that feeling you get when
you are somewhere new? Or you're the "new
person". Or maybe you are just at a new grocery market. You
kinda feel out of place, a
little bit like you don't
belong. People look at you funny, or maybe some people smile at you. Depends on the people, right? But,
I've learned that a smile can go a
long way. A smile brings out a whole new light on someone's face.
Especially if it's NOT a
forced smile. Just an instant reaction. "Whoa, why are my lips turning in this upward fashion?!" I
don't really know what the point of this is. All I'm trying to say
is....it feels good to receive a
smile. So, don't be afraid to
flash those pearly whites, because you might make someone's day with one
simple action.

Hello, I'd like to welcome myself back. I don't know if anyone noticed, but I was out for a short period of time. I got a concussion. Lost my memory, but I'm back now....did you know that the word "gullible" isn't in the dictionary? -- haha. I'm joking. I didn't lose my memory AND the word "gullible" is in the dictionary! You guys are so...so...GULLIBLE. I was just being lazy & couldn't think up a good blog entry. So, I'm kinda just rambling on right now.
Well, I had a very interesting dream last night. I had a dream that I was out scuba diving, yet I was so incredibly frightened that I didn't want to swim around anywhere. & there were sharks all around. & I think I was in panic mode because I remember freaking out saying that the sharks will "get me". I don't know, strange dream. You guys have any odd dreams last night? Well, they don't have to be odd. You just have any regular dreams? Feel free to share.

Moving Forward.

In the life that we live, we will make friends, develop enemies, build relationships, create bonds, break bonds, all that jazz. You can sense when someone has grown tired of you, you get that "haha, I don't care what you're talking about" vibe. You'll then realize that it is time for you to move on. & it can be painful,
heart-breaking, or just makes you want to punch a hole in the wall
(please, don't. that'll be money coming out of YOUR pocket).
I may just be rambling, but I to have been forced to move on & to buck up. Maybe that's why I have such a tough exterior (just kidding).
Sometimes, it's for the best. If you are stuck in the past, how can you
ever move forward (good question)? Well, that doesn't go for all things hence the fact that I obsess over the 80s. I've still managed to progress through my life. Change can be for the better.
So, put on a smile & keep walking tall.

Winter break is reaching it's end. It's bittersweet. Sweet since I'll get to go back & catch up w/friends. Bitter since it's school (haha). & hey! I actually woke up early today! Gotta get used to it -- waking up early, I mean. We'll see how it goes.

What would life be like without love?

Could you honestly imagine life w/o love? What is your take on it? I recently posted this question on the internet not too long ago, receiving various answers. I was told that it may improve our society. I was also told that it would destroy our society. It would destroy us. Us meaning all of us human beings. Love is the ultimate emotion, correct? I think so. It's an immense feeling that can not be put into words. If you can put love into words, then your love must not run deep enough. But, who am I to be talking? It's not like I've ever been in love. I mean, of course, I love my family. My friends. But still, who am I to talk? What is your take on love & what do you think life would be like if love didn't exist?

4:06 a.m. December 31, 2009.
It's the last day of the year. Which is also my dad's birthday (dad=creator of this site)! Happy Birthday dad! You all should wish him a happy birthday. :) I'm ready for 2010. BRING IT ON.
So, today was a tiring day (technically, it was yesterday since today is a new day). Phew! I sat on the couch ALL DAY LONG. Exhausting!
Haha, I'm just messing around. I was being extremely lazy today. Didn't do that much. I was a vegetable today. A couch potato. Whatever you want to call it. -- Watched some movies. By the way, have any of you ever watched the movie "Christine" ? It's a really great thriller movie. I recommend you see it! You'd love it! Well, that's if you love suspenseful movies that take you on a ride of your lifetime!
